The White Hawk Financial Planning Process

Step 1: Consultation Meeting

This looks a lot like people sitting around a table drinking coffee and talking… because it is. This is our opportunity to learn about you and prioritize where we can have the biggest, immediate impact. Our goal is to understand where you came from, where you currently are, and where you would like to go. We will take notes and gather as much information as we can in order to give you proper guidance. You will leave this meeting with a general idea of how we will work together and a plan of action for accomplishing your dreams. Ideally, we will help with at least 5 of our 7 AREAS OF FOCUS.

Step 2: Financial Plan Review Meeting

Once we have the information we need from you, we will build out the foundation of your financial plan with an emphasis on the priorities that we uncovered in the Consultation Meeting. We utilize software called MoneyGuide Pro to help analyze all of your possible scenarios. This meeting will help us determine if you are on track for your financial goals, where we can make changes if necessary, and where any potential pitfalls might be. You will leave this meeting with a clear idea of the paths that you can take to reach your goals and a plan for execution.

Step 3: Investment Review & Portfolio Construction Meeting

Often times, this step will get combined with Step 2 (Above). Depending on the complexity of your existing investments, we will review accordingly and discuss how we might approach things with your specific circumstances and input. You can learn more about our approach by visiting the Investment Research and Portfolio Series pages.

Step 4: Client Engagement & Onboarding

If you like how we work with you and decide that you would like a guide to walk alongside you as you pursue your financial dreams, we then execute paperwork and begin our Onboarding Process. Our onboarding process has been designed to ensure that your first 100 days with us are MAGICAL! We will begin to execute on the items that you helped us identify as high priority while getting you comfortable with our client experience (online portal, statements, etc.).
